The process

The challenges will run one after another. Each team member will take the lead in one challenge, and teammates may support them during their turn. All competitors will use the tools and resources provided for the event; the same tools will be available to every team. The task and judging criteria will be explained before each challenge starts. Final rules, including how ties will be handled, will be shared with teams before the competition.

More info on the challenges, the tools and the partners will be communicated shortly!

Team applications close on 30 October.

1 · Data wrangling

Turn a messy dataset into something useful. Competitors will have 50 minutes to inspect the data, clean or transform it, and produce a clear result - such as an analysis, a set of findings, or a usable dataset.

The challenges

2 · AI coding

Build a working software solution from a short brief. Competitors will have 50 minutes to plan, code, and test their solution using the tools provided. The task will be designed so the result can be tested against a set of requirements.

3 · Autonomous agents

Set up an AI agent to complete a multi-step task in a controlled environment. Competitors will have 50 minutes to configure and test their agent. Success will depend on whether it completes the task accurately and reliably.
